You can store particularly important telephone numbers on the four quick-dial keys and then dial them at the press of a button. Quick-dial key A also serves as a special emergency call key and can be configured with an SOS function. You can store up to four SOS numbers on this key at the same time. for example. the telephone numbers of relatives or neighbours.
How the emergency call function works:
1. When you activate the SOS function (quick-dial key A). all four stored telephone numbers are called in succession. They are dialled up to three times in a row – until someone picks up.
2. When the called party picks up. he or she hears an emergency call message| either a preset message or a message you have recorded (with E560A only).
3. The called party can then speak personally with you by pressing the 5 key.

You can conveniently operate the answering machine with the large keys on the base station. The base station offers excellent acoustics in the hands-free mode and is simultaneously an independent telephone with quick-dial keys and emergency call function. What's also good is that you have up to 170 seconds for your individual answer message. In addition. the answering machine provides 25 minutes for recording numerous messages.
